TPS Gates & Doors designs, supplies and installs sliding electric gates for homeowners across Bristol, Cheltenham, Herefordshire, Worcester and the wider South West. Whether you’re tight on space, have an uneven driveway or simply want a sleek, modern entrance, our sliding gate systems deliver style, security and convenience.

If your property has limited clearance for swing gates, or if you’re looking for a compact yet robust barrier, sliding gates are an ideal solution. We offer both tracked sliding gates and cantilever (track-less) sliding gates, giving you flexibility for driveways on slopes or uneven surfaces.

Tracked vs Cantilever – What’s Right for You?

Tracked sliding gates require a ground track and slide parallel to your driveway. Typically, you’ll need space equal to the width of the entrance plus around 500 mm for the slide-away area.
Cantilever sliding gates require no ground track, so they’re ideal if you want uninterrupted driveway paving or have an uneven surface. You’ll need a slide-away room equal to the entrance width plus approximately 30 % for the gear mechanism and overhang.

Benefits of Sliding Electric Gates

Space-efficient design – Ideal for narrow frontages or properties where swing gates would obstruct the drive or pavement.

Convenient operation – A remote or keypad opens your gate without getting out of your vehicle.

Durable build – Constructed from steel, aluminium or timber, then weather-coated for longevity.

Enhanced security – Sliding gates form a strong barrier, and integration options (sensors, intercoms) further boost safety.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had some electric gates installed by TPS over a decade ago. Aesthetically people comment how nice they are. Every now and again the gates either need maintenance or some work to fix and every time it has always been easy to deal with Paul and his staff to schedule works and resolve issues. Can’t recommend TPS and their team highly enough. Pleasant and a pleasure to deal with, in a world where good service is increasingly difficult to find.
